The Lunch Box sits along the I-10 frontage road in Seguin — easy to miss if you're not looking for it, and impossible to forget once you find it. More than one regular admits they found us by accident, got lost looking for something else, and ended up staying for a plate of fried shrimp or a slice of meatloaf that tasted like Sunday dinner at grandma's house.

That's the whole idea. We're not fancy, and we're not trying to be. Every day we put out a rotating lineup of blue-plate specials — meatloaf and mashed potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, pork pot roast, chicken fried steak — alongside the sandwiches and burgers folks come back for on their lunch break. The people behind the counter treat you like family, because around here, that's just how it's done.

Whether you're a coworker crew grabbing lunch, a traveler passing through on the highway, or a Seguin local who's been coming for years, pull up a seat. We'll have something warm on the plate and sweet potatoes on the side.
